Excellent thoughts as always! Once while in Emerald Isle Beach in NC we came upon HIUNDREDS of manta rays in slightly shallow water all flopping their “wings”. It remains on my top 10 list of things in nature that I’ve ever seen! Pictures didn’t do it justice! I was sitting here reminiscing when your post appeared. My oldest son is getting married this weekend and lots of thoughts flowing. Changes in the season, changes in life, lots of memories flooding in today. Your post set the tone. So thank you for that!
